Reporting to the Field HR Manager the HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor and resource to the Restaurant Operations team on employee related issues and will make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues. The HR Business Partner will recommend solutions using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations and/or employment law.
Successful Business Partners act as employee champions, change agents and ambassadors of Smashburger culture and values to the field. The HR Business Partner will assess and anticipate HR-related needs and proactively communicate with operations, training, and senior management. The HR Business Partner forms strong working partnerships across the organization to deliver value added service to restaurant operations employees that reflect the strategic objectives of Smashburger.
